Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across various industrial areas, including production lines, warehouses, and common spaces. Your efforts will support operational efficiency, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a healthy workplace. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Starts at 13/hr and goes to 14/hr after 30days. Will work in the Warehouse and Shipping dept. Must be a self starter

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and workstations to ensure optimal operation and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal. Cleaning Floors.
• Use industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively to clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and maintaining restrooms.
• Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or waste materials as required to support cleaning operations.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and proper usage techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA or relevant safety regulations.
