Custodian

– Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
– Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
– Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
– Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed to enhance facility appearance.
– Carry out commercial cleaning duties in various settings including offices, schools, and industrial spaces.
– Support facilities maintenance by reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
– Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
– Follow established safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.

Skills
– Experience in custodial or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
– Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
– Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation.
– Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
– Effective time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
