Maintenance Technician

Ensure the reliability and efficiency of facility’s equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging your technical expertise to support a committed team focused on operational excellence. You Will:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of production and infrastructure equipment.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for task tracking and documentation.
- Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine components.
- Install and repair electrical apparatuses such as transformers and wiring.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Repair and maintain manual and CNC mills and lathes.
- Use cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts as needed.
You MUST Have:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
- Familiarity with a CMMS for maintenance operations.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, or equivalent software.
- Forklift experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
