Job Description:
We are seeking a License Plate Agency Title Clerk to work in the Rocky Mount, NC area.
This position, as a contractor for the NC Division of Motor Vehicles, is responsible for the issuance of NC license plates and title work.
  • Examination of appropriate documents in issuing titles and tags
  • Responsible for complying with all NC DMV title manual regulations
  • Must possess the ability to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of work and observing general surroundings and activities
  • Prepare data and statistics to work with accounting processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
  • Perform extensive research and reading
  • Bilingual is a plus
Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Issue NC license plates and titles
  • Notarize documents as prescribed by the NC Secretary of State
  • Examine title documents to meet the requirements of the NC Division of Motor Vehicles
  • Collect and be accountable for monies collected
Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina’s driver license in good standing and a current NC commission as a Notary Public
  • Pre-employment drug screen (and random thereafter) and background check.
  • Must have cashier experience
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Title experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Schedule:
8-hour shift
Monday to Friday
